How It Works

Overview

Raffio is a curated skill-based prize competition platform. All hosts are individually reviewed and approved before listing. Browse the platform, find a competition you want to enter, and buy tickets for your chance to win.

Competitions

Answer the competition's skill question correctly and purchase tickets for a chance to win. When a listing closes, a winner is selected at random from all valid ticket holders.

1. Browse available competition listings on the platform.
2. Select a listing to view details, including ticket price and closing date.
3. Answer the competition's skill question — a correct answer is required before you can enter.
4. Purchase tickets — you can buy multiple to increase your chances.
5. When the listing closes, a winner is selected at random from all valid ticket holders.
6. If you win, Raffio confirms your win and manages your claim — the approved host then carries out delivery, collection or the relevant handover.

If You Win

When you win, Raffio confirms your win and manages your prize claim from start to finish. If we need any details from you — such as a delivery address — you submit them securely on your claim page, never by replying to an ordinary email. Once your claim is approved, the approved host performs the physical step: dispatching the prize, or carrying out the agreed collection or handover. Raffio tracks progress throughout and handles any problems, delays or questions. Your claim page shows any action and deadline that applies to your prize.

For Hosts

1. Apply to become a host — your application is reviewed by the Raffio team.
2. Once approved, create a competition listing for the prize you want to offer.
3. Provide item details, images, ticket pricing, and a closing date. Raffio reviews and approves the listing before it goes live.
4. Buyers enter your competition by purchasing tickets.
5. After the draw, Raffio verifies the winner and, once the claim is approved, releases a fulfilment task with only the information you need — you dispatch the prize or arrange the agreed collection or handover and record the evidence. Raffio manages all winner communication.

Host applications are subject to identity verification, review, and Raffio's approval process. Not all applications are accepted.

Winner Selection

After a competition closes, its winner is drawn at random from all valid ticket holders — entrants who answered the competition's skill question correctly — using RANDOM.ORG, an independent randomness service. Raffio commits to a single-use ticket before each draw and publishes the signed result afterwards, so anyone can verify the outcome — see the Results page for past draws and their evidence.

Payments

All customer payments are processed by Raffio. Buyers pay Raffio directly — not the individual host. Raffio manages the full payment lifecycle including processing, reconciliation, and dispute handling. Hosts receive payouts from Raffio after competition completion and fulfilment checks.
